News & Events
On August 27th, we hosted our second drive-thru baby shower and had a great turnout! 25 moms, 15 dads, and 26 babies (one couple had twins) were served that day! Staff and volunteers recognized some of their clients and were able to catch up with them. First Assembly Church of Bakersfield sponsored the baby shower, providing mom and dad bags and brought children’s books, accompanied by cute stuffed animals. Congratulations signs and balloons were placed around the building and cookies made by Tiffy’s Sweets were given out to the moms, dads, and kiddos in the backseats of the cars.
We’re excited to announce the launch of our baby bottle fundraiser from September 1st-30th! If you are interested in helping or donating, contact Julie at 326-1907. Our goal is to reach $60,000! Can you help us? Start donating here.
If you return one of our plastic baby bottles you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a Labor of Love basket. Find out more by clicking here.

Baby Bottle Campaign
We’re putting a little twist to this year’s annual baby bottle fundraiser campaign. Instead of our regular baby bottle campaign from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, we will be launching the fundraiser in Septermber, during Labor Day weekend!
If you’d like to participate, you can call us to pick up (or have dropped off) some baby bottles! We welcome you to invite your friends, family, coworkers and church to participate.
