About the Center
The Bakersfield Pregnancy Center was founded in 1985. Since its inception, the BPC has served over 40,000 clients and their families with pregnancy-related services.
It moved to its current location at 1801 18th Street in Downtown Bakersfield in May of 2018 where it currently offers free pregnancy tests, medical pregnancy verification, first-trimester limited ultrasound, post- abortion and post-miscarriage peer counseling programs, abstinence education parenting classes in both English and Spanish, baby showers and material support.
The Center currently serves 300-400 in-office clients per month. More are also served through school and community educational events.
